Fleeing Suspect CrashesThis Wednesday morning, a special education teacher was involved in the climactic end of a police chase. The accident happened at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Garland Road in Lewisville. According to local law enforcement, the suspect stole the SUV that was involved at 7:00am and then was promptly involved in a vehicle chase. Stephen Ford, the special education teacher, was heading to work when the suspect crashed into his minivan. Luckily, the suspect was apprehended and Mr. Ford was uninjured in the crash. He was quoted as saying “Angels are watching over me or something, honestly.”
