Police have identified the 16-year old victim who died in a car crash January 5. Her name was Samantha Agular. She crashed into a concrete ravine on Lake June Road. Her car burst into flames, and she was reported dead soon after. Police have yet to find out if there were any other victims in the car.

At the age of 16, young drivers are given the opportunity to obtain a driver’s liscence and get their first taste of freedom. It’s exciting, but teens have to be careful. - Obey the speed limit. A lot of accidents happen because someone was driving too fast, and lost control of his or her vehicle.
- Get a safe car. New car models have been implementing safer air bags, anti-lock breaks, and electronic stability control.
