Motorcyclist Dies After ChaseEarly Sunday morning, Lewisville County Sheriff’s Department reported that a deputy tried to pull a motorcycle over but the motorcyclist failed to stop, and a chase began. Authorities pursued the motorcyclist along 1-30 at approximately 12:30 am with five units responding to the call. Shortly after the chase began, the rider crashed at the entrance ramp to President George Bush Turnpike. The suspect was taken to the hospital but passed away. They have not released the name of the motorcyclist pending notification to his family.
