Car Wreck Kills 17-Year Old Girl

Plano TX Car AccidentPolice in Arlington are investigating a car wreck that took the life of a 17-year old girl reports DallasNews. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office has identified the victim as Hurst resident Tabitha Rowmaker.

The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of eastbound Interstate 20 near Collins Street. Police said a car possibly hydroplaned during a lane change and ended up facing sideways in the lane closest to the median. It was struck by another car.

The male teenage driver and a female teenage passenger in the first car were taken to the hospital, but the girl didn’t survive, police said. The woman in the other car was also taken to the hospital, with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
