Two motorcycle riders in Denton County were tragically killed on June 11, 2017 when they collided with a truck driven by a man suspected of drunk driving. The accident occurred on Highway 377 near the town of Aubrey when the truck driver suddenly swerved to make a U-turn. The man operating the motorcycle tried slamming on his brakes but it was too late. He and his passenger – who was also his fiancee – both died at the scene.
